We are a multidimensional consulting firm that has completed more than 600 projects, ranging from engineering, environmental planning and compliance monitoring, construction supervision, project management, and conducing surveys and feasibility studies.
EML Consultants (Pvt) Ltd, established in 1993, is a leading consultancy firm in Sri Lanka offering a wide range of technical and management consulting services to both the public and private sectors. While we initially focused on environment and natural resource management, we have since expanded our scope into areas such as Climate resilience initiatives, Irrigation management, water supply and sanitation, Local governance, institutional development, community participatory planning, environmental engineering, and financial management. The company is well-versed in project management and has a separate division for project management. The staff uses project management software and is engaged on all aspects of project management, ranging from scheduling, work planning, progress monitoring, reviews, and evaluations. The company has successfully concluded more than 600 projects over the period of 30 years.

The area that had been extensively worked on includes the Local government sector where many projects were carried out to promote, efficiency of those public institutions by promoting accountability and transparency.

The company has many different projects concluded in water sector. Water supply, sanitation, water pricing, sewerage and drainage studies and engineering design of those projects were completed over the last several years. Some of the completed projects in the water sector are the largest projects ever done in the country.

The company has concluded excellent range of environmental projects that covered ecosystem studies, gap analysis in the protected areas, biodiversity assessments, Environmental assessments (more than 200) and has provided these services to many other countries and partners who sought such services in the past.
